STOP!!! Look & Listen
Seriously, STOP & listen to your body and take note of what it is trying to tell you. Connect deep within and you will notice it has a lot to stay.
Lets have a look at this from two angles, my favourite two. Gut health and intuition.
First let’s look at intuition. When we go about our daily lives there are decisions that we need to make. What do we have for breakfast? What career path do I want to take? Where do I invest my money? What do I wear today?
Now I urge you before answer the question too quickly, I want you to ask yourself… What do I really want…? What is really going to make me happy?
There are so many of us out there that go about our daily lives not happy with where we are. They are always looking for happiness, looking forwards to the next time they can relax, always looking forward to the next holiday.
What if everyday could be a holiday? What if everything you do made you feel relaxed? What if happiness wasn’t something you searched for but something you created?
The fundamental basics in life were never directly taught to us…
You have the ability to create your life the way you want it.
If you want to be happy, put a smile on your face, stand up straight and have immense gratitude for everything that is currently in your life. The more grateful we become, the more things will flow into our lives that we can be grateful for. Is it really that simple? Yes, it really is. The problem with most of us is that we are impatient, and we can do it for an hour, maybe a day, at best maybe two and then we go back to our old ways. Give yourself a 7-day challenge of being grateful for everything in your life. Yes, even the bad stuff. You will be amazed at the difference in your life.
My 2nd love child is gut health. Did you realise food was meant to be nourishing? No really!! I know sounds simple right. But what does that really mean? Nourishing? Let’s go in reverse for a minute and explore what it’s not meant to do.
If you are tired after eating, you are eating the wrong foods. If you are bloated after eating, you are eating the wrong foods. If you feel heavy after eating, you are eating the wrong foods. And here is the big one… If you don’t go to the toilet and eliminate within a maximum of an hour after eating, you are eating the wrong foods. True! Did you know after 42hrs of food being in your digestive system it starts to decay and rot? That’s when we start getting into all sorts of trouble and a classic sign of this is constant bad breath (amongst others).
You deserve a body full of beauty from the inside out.
So I urge you, when you eat, STOP and think. How is it making you feel? A lot of the times gut health is not about what we need to put in, but what we need to stop putting in. Try do 7 days on conscious eating and see the difference to your energy levels.
